Original Imperial German WWI M 1871 Mauser "Walking Out" Parade Dress Bayonet with Etched Blade & Scabbard Military Equipment converted to percussion for further converted to percussion for further service It was tested with the British Army in 1944–1945 as a replacement for the Sten but it did not start to replace it until 1953
